By exploring different markets and contacting local businesses, who know their customers, conditions and application challenges of their respective areas, Rammer established a network of dedicated dealers with a wealth of operational knowledge and experience to support customers in demanding industries of mining, quarrying and construction.

The first overseas dealer, Lippe Maskin in Norway, was approached by the founder of Rammer Teuvo Grönfors who knew Norway would be an excellent market for rockbreakers as there is no naturally occurring gravel and wherever gravel was needed, it had to be made by turning big rocks into little rocks.

Second opportunity came from Italy where large basalt boulders presented a challenge to other European manufactured rockbreakers that at the time were designed mainly for breaking softer rocks such as limestone.

Michele Galasso, sales engineer in Rome, was very familiar with the Italian construction and mining market and during his visit to Rammer factory in Finland he saw impressive Rammer S800 in action and immediately knew that Rammer rockbreakers would give him a real business opportunity.

Galasso established a company called Rammit that is one of Rammer’s longest-running representatives.

Today, Rammer has dealers present in every corner of the world offering local support and advice.

Factors contributing towards great global success is Rammer’s willingness to listen to dealers’ open feedback and problem solving is carried out in cooperation between with the dealer and specialised staff at the Rammer factory.

The cornerstones of Rammer have always been efficiency, unbeatable quality, and operational reliability and ongoing communicative process with dealers and their customers across the world promotes product development with an aim to continuously reduce breaking times and help customers avoid unnecessary downtime.
