Tutt Bryant has announced an exciting initiative, Tutt Bryant Go Green, to help Australia’s heavy industries overcome barriers in decarbonisation.
The initiative known as Tutt Bryant Go Green is designed to introduce innovative and sustainable solutions, products and solutions into the Australian market.
Tutt Bryant will leverage its extensive network of global partners and solutions and develop local solutions within Australia in collaboration with local enterprises.
The company has confirmed Chris Leahy will lead this initiative through his role as Tutt Bryant’s national business manager for sustainable products and innovation.
“We recognise that through our three operating divisions that are focused on the sale and hire of construction machinery and equipment, Tutt Bryant is able to reach a broad spectrum of customers who currently have limited choices to lower their carbon emissions,” he said.
As part of Tutt Bryant Go Green, customers can expect to benefit from:
Tutt Bryant Equipment bringing in new machinery and equipment from existing portfolio brands that are low or zero carbon emitting, and other related products such as Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS);
Tutt Bryant Equipment representing new brands that are focused on green and sustainable products and services;
Tutt Bryant Equipment collaborating with local enterprises to develop home-grown products and services, an example of which is the LiFePO4D hybrid prototype unit;
Tutt Bryant Heavy Lift & Shift and Tutt Bryant Hire introducing low and zero-carbon emitting equipment into their respective rental fleets, such as cranes and access equipment that are fully battery electric or powered by alternate fuels such as hydrogen and ethanol;
Tutt Bryant Heavy Lift & Shift and Tutt Bryant Hire offering the option of renewable diesel (HVO100) as a drop-in fuel for existing rental units with internal combustion engines;
Other future innovations that support the decarbonising of the heavy equipment industry in Australia.
“The Tutt Bryant Go Green initiative will require a whole-of-organisation approach by Tutt Bryant to leverage the expertise from all parts of the group and collaborate with all of our stakeholders to optimise and deliver practical and cost-effective solutions that are sustainable and contribute towards decarbonising our industry,” Leahy said.
