MLC has continued to bolster its operations in the United States and abroad with two leadership appointments.
The company, formerly known as Mississippi Lime Company, has announced that Cheryl Stuckmeyer will join the company while Blake Dell has been promoted.
Stuckmeyer will serve as the company’s vice president for supply chain operations where she will oversee logistics, inventory management, procurement and trucking functions. She has two decades of industry experience with former roles at Bayer, Bayer Crop Science, Monsanto Company, ICL, Solae and Covidien.

“Cheryl has established a comprehensive background in strategic supply chain planning, people development and consistent delivery of business results. She will be a valued member of our executive team, providing leadership and direction as we continue to invest in our supply chain capabilities to support long-term growth,” said Paul Hogan, president and chief executive officer at MLC.
“We separated our supply chain function from operations a few years ago to provide dedicated leadership for planning, procurement and logistics.
“This has really helped us to cement our position as the leader in supply chain excellence for the lime industry. Cheryl will be focused on continuing this trend through best-in-class efficiencies, partner relationships, service levels and logistics.”

It followed MLC’s promotion of Dell to serve as the vice president for corporate development, strategy, and UK operations, which supports its expansion into the UK with Singleton Birch. Dell will serve as the executive director for Singleton Birch as current Chief Executive Officer Richard Stansfield retires this month.
Dell has been with MLC for 13 years, holding roles in finance, sales, marketing, and corporate development. He helped lead the recent acquisitions of Singleton Birch (Melton Ross, UK), Valley Minerals (Bonne Terre, MO), and Southern Lime (Calera, AL).
“We are extremely grateful for Richard’s contributions over many years of proven accomplishments. He has been integral to the success of our acquisition and integration, which has enabled our teams to work together to enhance innovation, operational capabilities and sustainability,” Hogan said.
“As we enter a new era of growth for both MLC and Singleton Birch, Blake’s skill set will be central to continuing to grow our international footprint and integrate our businesses into a unified family, delivering value through strategic acquisitions.”
