Superior Industries has made a major appointment after unveiling Eric Gavin in a newly-created role for the company.

Gavin has been appointed as the business development manager in the construction management division at Superior Industries.

Prior to his appointment at the American-based manufacturer, Gavin held roles with Dumas Mining, Meridiam Partners, Harrison Western and Aggregates Industries. During his time at Aggregates Industries, Gavin worked as a plant manager for the company’s operations through the Denver metropolitan area.

“Eric’s background and energy fit perfectly into this new position and we’re excited to watch him and the entire construction management team grow and succeed,” Superior Industries president Jason Adams said.

In his new role as director of business development for construction management, Gavin will identify new business opportunities, nurture existing relationships, develop strategic plans, research industry trends, collaborate with the construction management team, and support project management and onsite tasks as needed.

The appointment follows Superior Industries promoting Matt Voigt into an expanded role with the company.
