Aggregate Industries UK has unveiled its new chief executive officer to take over from Dragan Maksimovic later this year.
Aggregate Industries UK, part of the Holcim group, has announced that Lee Sleight will become its new chief executive officer on August 1.
Sleight has been in the construction industry for more than 20 years and joined Aggregates Industries UK as managing director of its readymix division in 2021 before transferring to its aggregates division last year.
“I’d like to congratulate Lee on his appointment. He will make an excellent [chief executive officer],” Maksimovic said.
“I have worked closely with him for the last few years and he has a proven track record in leading and transforming businesses. I am confident he will continue to drive the business forward while delivering on our ambitious plans of decarbonisation and green growth.”
The appointment follows Maksimovic’s earlier appointment this year as the region head of Western Europe for Holcim. In this role, Maksimovic was tasked with overseeing the Holcim businesses in the UK, France, Belgium, Germany, and Spain.
