CRH has announced another acquisition, which will strengthen its position within the Western United States market.
The company has acquired Ary Corporation, which is a Colorado-based company with a headquarters in Canon City.
Under the terms of the agreement, CRH will expand its aggregates reserves with more than 25 sand and gravel sites plus five fixed asphalt plants and two portable plants, nine ready-mix concrete and paving, plus construction services.
“The acquisition expands our existing footprint in Colorado and presents CRH with attractive opportunities for development and growth,” CRH Americas Materials Solutions president Scott Parson said.
“As North America’s leading integrated supplier of aggregates, asphalt, ready mixed concrete and construction services, we look forward to serving customers in Colorado with our unique combination of building materials, products and solutions.”
It follows CRH’s recent deal for Adbri in Australia in partnership with Barro Group. Under the terms of the agreement, CRH claimed all remaining shares that Barro Group did not own to acquire a majority stake in the Australian company.
