Holcim has revealed a trio of leadership appointments as key changes to its executive across the company.
Jaime Hill has been promoted to the region head of North America after previously serving as the country chief executive officer of Holcim’s Mexico operations. Hill succeeds Toufic Tabbara. In his time with Mexico, Mexico became the second biggest contributor to Holcim’s EBIT worldwide.
Carmen Diaz has been promoted to chief people officer from October 1 after previously serving as the country chief executive officer of Spain. She succeeds Feliciano González Muñoz after achieving a record performance in the Spanish market. Diaz joined Holcim in 2002 and has held general management roles in Madrid, Paris, Lyon and London.
Lukas Studer has become group general counsel which will be effective from November 1. He takes the role on from Mathias Gaertner. Studer joined Holcim in 2008 and has been General Counsel Corporate and M&A since 2017. He played an essential role in the company’s successful M&A strategy, with more than 100 transactions closed in the last five years.
“I am pleased to appoint Jaime, Carmen and Lukas to their new leadership positions at the core of Holcim’s next era of growth,” Holcim chief executive officer Miljan Gutovic said in a statement.
“All three are highly accomplished business leaders who have driven record performance across our markets.
“I sincerely thank Toufic, Feliciano and Mathias for their many contributions to Holcim’s success.”
