Terex Campsie, one of the company’s main manufacturing facilities, has celebrated its five-year anniversary since it opened in 2019.
The engineering and manufacturing facility works for several of the company’s brands, including ProStack, in the bulk handling sector. It also manufactures Terex Ecotec and Terex Green-Tec, focusing on waste management and recycling.
“These past five years have been a testament to the dedication, innovation, and passion of our team at Terex Campsie. From the very beginning, our goal was to be at the forefront of the waste management, recycling sectors and conveying sectors, and today we are proud to see how far we’ve come,” Jonathan Hanna, general manager of Terex Campsie, said.
“Our team has made significant strides in production capacity, product development, and safety, and we look forward to many more years of success.”

The site has been continually developed since it opened in 2019. In its first year, it received a £12 million investment, which was followed by a 30,000-square-foot expansion completed in 2020 to enable the ProStack production line to be added.
Earlier this year, the site celebrated a significant production milestone with the 1000th machine manufactured. It also reached 1,000 days without a lost time incident in September. Over the five-year period, the site has grown to accommodate more than 150 employees after starting with 15 originally.
The Terex Campsie site serves customers in global markets and exports machines worldwide.
“The last five years have been an incredible journey and reaching our 1,000th machine production milestone was a proud achievement for the entire team. While current market conditions have presented challenges, we remain committed to focusing on innovation, safety, and operational efficiency,” Hanna said.
“As we navigate these times, our focus is on building a resilient foundation that positions the site for future growth and continued leadership in the waste management, recycling and conveying sectors.”
