Komatsu Australia has been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2024 Lord Mayor’s Business Awards.
The company has been listed as a finalist in the ISPT Investment in Brisbane Award category. The award recognises business that make strategic investments in Brisbane and helps the city’s growth and development.
Komatsu Australia has been connected to the Brisbane region since 1978. Its investments in the Komatsu Innovation Hub and Distribution Centre have helped the Australian mining and construction industries, as well as Brisbane’s economy and workforce.

Komatsu Australia’s Brisbane facilities employ more than 500 people, serve more than 1,200 customers, and generate $90 million annually, according to the company, which supports Brisbane’s economy.
“As a finalist for the Lord Mayor’s Business Awards, Komatsu Australia is proud of the recognition of our significant role in Brisbane’s present and future. While we are a global company, our heart remains in the local regions we serve,” the company said in a statement.

Winners will be announced at the gala dinner on Friday, October 25.
