The new dates for Hillhead have been revealed. The major exhibition for quarrying, construction, and recycling is set to return in 2026.
According to its website, the industry showcase will take place from June 23 to 25, 2026, at Hillhead Quarry in Buxton, United Kingdom.
The three-day event took place earlier this year, and the 2024 iteration broke show records as crowds flocked to Hillhead Quarry.
According to organisers, this year’s show was the most visited edition ever in terms of the volume of visits over the three days. Additionally, more visitors were spending more time at the show than ever before and a record for the number of attendees attending for more than one day.
Overall, there were 26,626 visits over the three days, 8 per cent higher than in 2022. This year’s show had the second highest number of unique visitors in the show’s history with 19,577 unique visitors, 6.2 per cent higher than 2022.
“With the sun shining and visitors spending more time at the show than ever before, it was fantastic to see Hillhead continuing to break new attendance records,” said Richard Bradbury, event director.
“It’s an exciting time for the industry as digitalization, automation, and decarbonization continue to drive change within the quarrying, construction, and recycling sectors, and this was represented by the scale and quality of the 600 or so companies that exhibited.
“But my abiding memory of Hillhead 2024 is of the unique ‘human’ platform it provided for buyers and sellers to engage – to feel, touch, and interact with the products on show, and, of course, to catch up with colleagues and network with the wider industry.”
