Powerscreen unveils ‘state-of-the-art’ global headquarters

Powerscreen has unveiled its new global headquarters in Northern Ireland, featuring ‘state-of-the-art’ technology and office spaces.

Powerscreen, a Terex brand, hosted First Minister Michelle O’Neill at the Dungannon site which is officially in operation.

“As pioneers in mobile crushing and screening, we’ve always believed in building not just equipment, but legacies,” Powerscreen business line director and general manager Sean Loughran said.

“As Powerscreen approaches 60 years of operating, we understand the value of durability and
innovation. Our new headquarters isn’t just bricks and mortar; it’s a testament to our commitment
to lasting excellence.

“Built to Last isn’t just a strapline for us; it’s a promise to our team members, our customers, and our community—a promise of enduring quality, reliability, and progress.”

The new headquarters features an 8,500 sq ft office space, a modern wellness centre for team wellbeing and energy-saving enhancements to tackle carbon emissions.

The new headquarters is part of a wider strategic push from Terex to modernise its operations and facilities. This includes robotic welding and automation systems, job tracking and data capture technologies.

“As well as extending the footprint, the traditional cellular office accommodation has been replaced with open-plan spaces that have been carefully arranged around modern working arrangements and informal collaboration areas,” maintenance and facilities manager at Terex Dungannon Peter Doherty said.

“Additionally, the building fabric has been upgraded to improve thermal efficiency  along with the use of low energy fittings and products – reducing overall energy consumption in line  with global Terex policy and targets to implement sustainable practices that minimises the environmental impact of our operations.”

O’Neill welcomed the new facility as a positive outcome for Northern Ireland.

“It is companies like Terex that put us (Northern Ireland) on the map and we are fortunate that you are located here,” she said.

“Your employment of thousands of people across the region is vital and we are proud to have you as a key part of the community.”
