McLanahan Corporation has confirmed it will showcase at US-based trade show AGG1 later this year.
The AGG1 showcase is set to take place at America’s Center Convention Complex in St. Louis, MO, from March 25-27.
McLanhan will exhibit from booth 4001. It will provide attendees with information about the company’s complete line of equipment that includes everything from crushing and screening to washing, classifying and tailings management.
McLanahan team members will be available to discuss these systems and how they can provide tailored solutions for customer applications.
Alongside this, McLanahan team members will present sessions on C&D Recycling 101; Meeting Specs with Sampling: The Right Way and The Wrong Way; Creating Profit From Waste: The Secret to Recovering More Fines and Making More Money; and Crushing 101. AGG1 attendees can attend these sessions to learn more about McLanahan’s expertise in best practice within these areas.
C&D Recycling 101
McLanahan’s director of sales for C&D Recycling, Neil Mullan, will discuss the growing demand for recycled aggregates and the key drivers behind this, including infrastructure spending, increased mandates surrounding carbon emissions and an upward trend in sustainability efforts.
The session will also cover discussions on the wet processing of C&D debris, highlighting the importance of recycling in the industry and some of the challenges and strategies associated with material processing. C&D Recycling 101 takes place on Tuesday, March 25, at 12:30pm.
Meeting Specs with Sampling: The Right Way and The Wrong Way
McLanahan’s global product manager Adam Orner will discuss sampling methods that allow producers to ensure that products meet strict specifications. This session will illustrate the benefits, safety and accuracy surrounding sampling systems, how to analyse sampling data, and why it is so important to maintain a proper sampling operation. Meeting Specs with Sampling takes place on Tuesday, March 25, at 10:00am.
Creating Profit From Waste: The Secret to Recovering More Fines and Making More Money
McLanahan’s senior director of sales Rick Madara will cover how to manage wastewater effluent containing extremely fine material as a byproduct of the washing process. Attendees can learn how capturing these fines can save producers time, energy and costs associated with handling fine material. During this session, attendees will learn about the variety of available solutions, how to identify how much material they’re losing to waste and how to minimise the lost fine materials while freeing up valuable resources and maximising profits. Creating Profit From Waste takes place on Wednesday, March 26, at 12:30pm.
Crushing 101
McLanahan’s vice president of business development, Mark Krause, will present the different types of crushers used for material size reduction, the pros and cons of each type and how to optimise the crushing process. Attendees can learn something new or brush up on the basics during this session for industry veterans and newcomers on Wednesday, March 26, at 8:00am.
