In Adelaide, 80 prefabricated concrete deck panels have been used to form the 1.4-kilometre-long elevated section of the Mike Turtur Bikeway that will bypass some of the city’s busiest intersections.

A tender has been released for the construction of a new water treatment plant that will form a key part of the $59.1 million Busselton Water Supply Improvement Project in Western Australia.

In Victoria, Inland Rail and John Holland removed the Marchbanks Road Bridge during an 86-hour weekend track possession, marking the ninth and final bridge replaced in the Beveridge to Albury section while 68-metre girders for the new bridge were installed.

Sunland has won approval for a $390 million 42-storey tower at Broadbeach on the Gold Coast, Queensland, with construction slated to start in early 2027 and completion expected by mid-2031.

The owners of a heritage cottage in Melbourne’s Yarraville went the extra mile to secure a low carbon concrete rating for their extension, tailoring both mix and program.

A joint venture consisting of two of Australia’s largest infrastructure contractors, BMD and Gamuda Engineering Australia, has been awarded the $624 million Elizabeth Drive Upgrade and Mamre Road Upgrade Stage Two design and construct contract by Transport for NSW.

The new $20 million 38-metre-long Sooning Street Bridge on Magnetic Island near Townsville, with its 1430 tonnes of concrete (piles and beams) along with ready-mix, precast, has been delivered.
