
Senior leaders from Holcim Australia and New Zealand gathered on the Gold Coast to discuss the company’s vision for the future.
The senior leader’s conference was centred around strategy, collaboration, and innovation as leaders shared key insights. Jeffrey Giesse, Holcim group head for HSE, joined the conference virtually from Holcim’s headquarters in Switzerland to highlight the company’s commitment to safety.
The event also included the annual excellence awards, which recognised teams and individuals for their contributions across the company.
Holcim Australia and New Zealand chief executive officer George Agriogiannis outlined the company’s new focus on “building progress for people and the planet”.

The event featured guest speakers, including Olympic canoeing gold medalist Jess Fox OAM, future of work expert Dr Ben Hamer and RedBalloon founder Naomi Simson, who shared their reflections on leadership and key lessons they had learned from their fields.
“As Holcim ANZ embarks on this new era of growth, its leaders are more aligned than ever in their commitment to driving sustainable construction, fostering innovation, and delivering industry-leading performance,” Holcim Australia said in its release.
