Heidelberg Materials Australia has announced the re-opening of its new Geelong Concrete Plant.

The company publicly revealed the re-opening of its Geelong site, a key corridor in the greater Geelong and Surf Coast region.

“We’re thrilled to announce the reopening of our Geelong Concrete Plant. With upgraded facilities and a passionate team ready to deliver, we’re set to support the growing needs of the Greater Geelong and Surf Coast region with reliable supply, quality concrete, Imagecrete and top-tier service,” Heidelberg Materials Australia posted.

“A huge thanks to everyone who made this possible — with special thanks to Chris Coates, Jordan Mulvey and Michael Yee for their incredible work in bringing this plant back online.

“Here’s to new opportunities, stronger partnerships and building the region’s future — one pour at a time.”

The re-opening strengthens Heidelberg Materials Australia’s presence in Victoria. Last month, the company solidified its presence in Victoria with the acquisition of Midway Concrete. Midway Concrete serviced the greater Melbourne and Geelong areas through its four concrete plants at Laverton, Craigieburn, Melton, and Lara.
