George Wilcox has joined Superior Industries as the manufacturer’s first-ever channel sales manager, working with its dealer network.

In his new role, Wilcox will work with Superior’s dealer network on development, business planning, and marketing efforts. He will focus on aligning training, inventory, and sales strategies across the dealer network with Superior’s goals.

“One of the primary objectives of Wilcox’s position is to give Superior’s territory managers more time to focus on field-based selling — with boots on the ground — working directly alongside dealer sales teams,” Superior Industries sales director Jeff Gray said.

Wilcox joined the US-headquartered manufacturer after nearly thirty years in the aggregates and wood reduction industries. Previously, he was sales and marketing director for CBI and EcoTec, which are divisions of Terex, where he also worked as a product manager. Wilcox began his career for the Terex brand Simplicity in 1997.

Wilcox follows recent Superior Industries’ appointments of Eric Gavin and the promotion of Matt Voigt.
