Tony Aloisio has been confirmed as the latest chief executive officer of the Australian Flexible Paving Association (AfPA).

Alosio will take over his new role on July 1 after previously serving as the organisation’s interim CEO and as a past chair of the Australian Flexible Paving Association (AfPA). He took over as interim CEO of the AfPA following Carlos Rial’s resignation in April 2024.

In a statement announcing the appointment, AfPA board chair Rob McGuire said the recruitment process has been “careful and thorough”.

“Tony has demonstrated excellent leadership, strategic vision, and a deep understanding of the industry. As former chair of AfPA, he is widely respected among members and stakeholders and brings a wealth of experience to the role,” McGuire said.

“Under his leadership, we are confident that AfPA will further strengthen its role as the trusted voice of the flexible pavement industry, fostering collaboration, driving innovation and delivering meaningful outcomes across the sector.

“Together, with Tony’s leadership, the dedication of our team, and your invaluable contributions, AfPA will continue to serve as the trusted voice for our industry.”
