One opportunity is a fully operational sand mine with wash plant at Mt Compass, and the second opportunity is a sand drying, grading, and packaging operation at Dry Creek.
These businesses are well positioned to support demand across the construction, infrastructure, landscaping, and energy sectors, with potential for further expansion and export opportunities in the Asia-Pacific region.
In operation since 1985, Mt Compass Sand & Loam, located at 95 Sandmine Road, Mt Compass, supplies a range of high-grade washed and raw sands across South Australia. The site covers 147 hectares, with 78.9 hectares under tenement and estimated reserves exceeding 8 million tonnes. Sand is extracted using conventional quarrying methods and processed on-site via a modern wash plant.

- Broad sand product range meeting SA Water, Gas, and AS4419 standards
- In-demand washed sands: concrete, oval, fracking, play pit, and turf mixes
- Modern wash plant (McLanahan US5-2S commissioned 2023) and full suite of plant & equipment
