Transport Women Australia announces new board leadership

Coralie Chapman has been named as the new chair of the Transport Women Australia Limited (TWAL) board, where she will take over from Jacquelene Brotherton.  

Chapman, who is also the national logistics manager for Humes, a division of Holcim Australia, has stepped into the top job at TWAL, with Di Caldwell-Smith taking over the responsibilities of company secretary.  

The TWAL has confirmed its latest board structure as part of this announcement:  

  • Coralie Chapman, chair 
  • Penne Murphy, vice chair 
  • Jacquelene Brotherton, immediate past chair and director 
  • Di Caldwell-Smith, company secretary 
  • Katrina Burns, director 
  • Ainsleigh Thomas, director 
  • Claudia Foini, director 
  • Loretta Hartley, director 

“We extend our deepest gratitude to our outgoing chair, Jacquelene Brotherton for her exceptional and deep contribution combined with her unwavering commitment to our mission. Jacquelene’s legacy has laid a strong foundation on which we now move forward,” TWAL said in a statement.  

“As we enter this next chapter, we do so with excitement, fresh vision, and renewed energy to continue driving progress, innovation, and inclusivity within the sector. 

“Our new structure represents our continued dedication to empowering, supporting, and advocating across all facets of the transport and logistics industry.”
