Fulton Hogan has confirmed Graeme Johnson will take over the role of group chief executive at the company.
Johnson has had an association with Fulton Hogan since 2003 before he took on further roles in management and the executive in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. In addition to this, Johnson has experience on several boards including Infrastructure New Zealand, Australian Constructors Association, Cement Concrete & Aggregates Australia and the University of Canterbury Civil and Natural Resources Engineering Professional Advisory Board.
Fulton Hogan provided more information on the appointment following a previous industry update in late 2024.
“Graeme was previously CEO of NZ and, most recently, CEO of Australia and will continue in his new capacity as Group CEO to lead Fulton Hogan’s strategic direction and contributions to the infrastructure landscape on both sides of the Tasman,” Fulton Hogan said in its announcement.
“Graeme is a familiar and respected figure across the infrastructure sector on both sides of the Tasman, with a long-standing track record of strong delivery, relationships and collaboration. A Chartered Professional Engineer and Fellow of both Engineering New Zealand and Engineers Australia, Graeme brings substantial expertise and credentials recognised on both sides of the Tasman.
“Passionate about the infrastructure sector, Graeme will continue to be a leading contributor in shaping industry capability, actively championing initiatives that build skills, foster innovation, and enhance sector resilience for the long term.”
