Hitachi Construction Machinery (HCM) has announced that it will transition to a new name and brand, which will take full effect by 2027.
The company will be known as LANDCROS Corporation. The company has stated that the new name reflects its “determination to deliver innovative solutions to customers around the world in the construction and mining industries.”
“LANDCROS represents our commitment to go beyond machinery, empowering customers with intelligent, connected, and sustainable solutions,” HCM Europe president and chief executive officer Francesco Quaranta said.
“It is based on a partnership philosophy, working openly with technology leaders, integrating cutting-edge digital and AI capabilities into machines that symbolise reliability in the construction industry, whilst creating a reimagined customer experience from ground to cloud.”
As part of the announcement, HCM will transition to LANDCROS effective from April 2027. The dual branding will be phased out over a 12-month period following April 2027. This means orders placed after that date will be delivered as LANDCROS machines, with all products fully transitioned by April 2028.
HCM has confirmed it will provide more information and updated materials closer to the changeover date for its customers.
“The people, products, support networks, and supply chains you have come to trust will remain unchanged. You can continue to rely on your existing support team, branch network, account contacts, and product and parts supply – all of which will operate as usual,” the company said in its release.
“Thank you for your ongoing partnership and trust. We look forward to the future together as LANDCROS – a name that honours our heritage and reflects our commitment to reliability, and your continued success.”
