Holcim has taken home the Global Top Employer for 2025 award by the Top Employers Institute.

This sees the company as one of only 18 to receive the certification, which recognises the businesses that meet the highest standards across their people practices.

Holcim chief executive officer Miljan Gutovic said that the award recognises its position as a leading partner for sustainable construction and will help the company kick on in 2026.

“This achievement is truly a testament to the excellent collaboration and dedication across our teams at Holcim, and we are incredibly proud of this recognition,” he said.

“I thank and congratulate all our 45000 employees for demonstrating the strength of our Holcim spirit.”

The Top Employer award recognises 27 of Holcim’s markets across all its regions, from Asia, Middle East, and Africa, to Latin America and Europe.

Holcim chief people and sustainability officer Carmen Diaz said the award will have a tremendous impact on the wellbeing of its staff.

“We are delighted to receive this recognition, which reflects Holcim’s focus on being the best workplace,” she said.

“A workplace where talent is nurtured, diversity is celebrated, people are engaged, and health and safety is our top priority.”
