A2B Crushing and Screening’s Mikey Parkinson and Brett Matusevicius reflect on a big year for their business as it grew in the quarrying sector.

Can you tell us about how A2B Crushing and Screening started and where the business is today?

A2B Crushing and Screening (A2B) started back in 2018, when founder Mikey Parkinson had a vision of offering a one-stop-shop solution to the quarry, recycling and mining industries.

We started our journey in the first six months, running out of a small storage unit and having a mobile office out on the road. Baby steps were always key at first, and now the rest is history. Now, we have our own set-up with branches covering both the east and west coasts of Australia.

How can A2B Crushing and Screening assist in the quarrying and mining industry?

We can assist all mobile and fixed plant operators with their requirements for everyday spare parts, wear parts and screening media.

Our commitment is to put our customers first by providing outstanding service that leaves a lasting impression. We believe in providing a fast, reliable, and honest service, which is what our team at A2B prides itself on in every interaction. Ultimately, we exist to help operators avoid unnecessary downtime and aim to get them back up and running immediately. With our impressive range of stock, we ensure all items can be delivered straight from the shelf to sites with a matter of urgency, just as our name suggests.

How was 2025 for the business?

Seeing the continued growth of our new clients was great to see in 2025.

It was terrific to have the trust of our existing customers with their repeat orders, especially in the wear parts and screening media side of the business. One of the big highlights has been our customers recognising us for delivering on our philosophy: providing great service with quality, well-priced products. We aim to reduce our customers’ running costs by keeping downtime to a minimum. Our customers have recognised this in their feedback to us, and it shows we are achieving our goals. Also, 2025 was the first year for our A2B branch in Western Australia; it was a year of building our name and understanding the market’s differences compared to the east coast of Australia.

It was a great start for WA, where we focused on customer service, building relationships with our customers and understanding their needs.

It’s been a very positive year, and we look forward to building on what we have started.

Looking forward to 2026, what lies in store for the business?

We are pleased to advise that the A2B Queensland branch has officially relocated to its new, larger premises. This marks an important step in supporting our continued growth and improving the services we provide. The new facility will support greater inventory capacity, enhanced operational efficiency, expanded service capabilities, and the ongoing provision of the high-quality parts and support our customers expect. In 2026, our primary focus will be on increasing stock options and growing our team to keep up with the growing number of inbound enquiries we have received. We are excited about the new products we will be offering and immersing ourselves more in the quarrying and mining industry. We would like to thank our amazing staff for being part of our journey, and to our existing clients for their continued trust. Our position as a one-stop provider is made possible through the ongoing support of our Australian and global suppliers, together with our valued customers.
