
Pacific Lime and Cement has revealed experienced business leader Kevin Savory as the company’s new chief executive for its cement operations.
Savory has more than three decades of industry experience in key markets including Australia, Papua New Guinea (PNG) and the Asia Pacific spanning lime, cement, construction materials, civils and large infrastructure applications.
Previously, he served as the chief executive officer of Mayur Resources Cement and Lime business from 2018 to 2020. He has also worked for construction materials companies including Cement Australia, Holcim and Infrastructure Products Australia (CRH) with experience in cement, lime, slag, fly ash, precast, concrete and infrastructure applications.
“Kevin’s appointment significantly strengthens our leadership capability as we advance our cement strategy in parallel with our quicklime construction already well underway,” Pacific Lime and Cement managing director Paul Mulder said.
“His deep sector knowledge, prior experience with our assets and jurisdictions, and proven ability to execute in capital-intensive environments make him ideally suited to lead the next phase of growth. Kevin will be permanently based in PNG.”
